We've partnered with Apiverte to bring you this delicious honey harvested right here in Wakefield at Bluebarn HQ. 

Apiverte, based in La Pêche, Quebec, is a unique venture combining beekeeping innovation, environmental sustainability, and community collaboration. Founded by Sandra and Michael, the company focuses on promoting pollinator health through their innovative and sustainable beekeeping solution designed to improve bee habitats, pest control, and wintering conditions.

Apiverte partners with local businesses, farms, and families in the Gatineau Hills region, cultivating a network of over 30 apiary sites across five municipalities. The company produces small-batch, single-origin honey, capturing the unique flavors of the area's diverse ecosystem. In addition to honey production, Apiverte collaborates with artists to create visually stunning, mural-adorned hives, blending functionality with artistry.

The business emphasizes education and community engagement, offering workshops and training to inspire broader adoption of sustainable beekeeping practices. Apiverte's mission extends beyond honey production, aiming to empower individuals to support pollinator health and biodiversity while making beekeeping accessible and rewarding.
